Wig Colours

With a total of 80 different wig colours, it can be hard to know exactly what different colour combinations will look like. With the wig swatches on the hair colour options not always matching the wigs in real life, this makes it even harder to predict how a mask will end up looking. In order to help resolve this issue, we have produced a series of photos showing the different wig colours all under the same lighting conditions and edited them to be as true to life as possible. This will allow everyone to get a clearer idea of what their mask will look like once it has been made.

Compare

To make comparing 2 colours side by side both quicker and easier, we have made this useful tool for people to use. Just select the wig colours you are interested in and find out how they look.

How

We waited until it was dark outside and then set up a table, along with studio lighting and a high-end camera on a tripod, inside a dark room. We set the camera into full manual mode and manual focus to try and ensure that the photos taken are as similar to each other as possible. By swapping out the wig sample under the camera between each picture, it enabled us to get a series of photos of every sample. The photos were then edited as a batch to ensure the same settings were used across all photos.

Samples

Wig samples you say? Well yes, our supplier does offer samples, in fact we ourselves have been using them for quite some time in order to get ensure we know the true colour of a wig before we buy it. As with the skinsuit colours, the only true way to know which colour is right for you, without questioning if your monitor is displaying it correctly, is to have a physical sample to look at instead. As such, we are currently looking into adding these wig samples to our website, for those of you who would like to see a colour in person before buying a mask.
